Why LGIS Exists
I’ve worked in enough different fields that explaining what I do has always been awkward. Sales engineer. Carpenter. Arborist. Tree service owner. Technical consultant.
None of those titles capture the through-line, which is: I like solving problems that require both thinking and doing.
LGIS is a place to document that. It’s not a portfolio in the traditional sense — it’s more like a public notebook. A place where I can point someone regardless of the context.
What does LGIS stand for? It used to be Lions Gate Information Systems — a company that no longer exists. Now it’s just four letters. A maker’s mark. It means whatever it needs to mean in the moment.
If you’re here, you probably got sent a link. Look around. If something’s useful, great. If not, no hard feelings.
